Tipton-FSI JV, LLC Awarded Contract at Land Between the Lakes, KY

Tipton-FSI JV, LLC was awarded a five-year contract to provide Operations & Maintenance of Government-owned facilities and equipment at the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area.

Tipton-FSI JV, LLC will perform preventive maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, minor construction, paved, gravel, & earth road management, hard stands, grounds maintenance, mowing of improved and unimproved grounds, refuse collection and disposal, and waste water treatment plant operations for the USDA Forest Service at Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area.

Land Between the Lakes (LBL) encompasses over 171,000 acres of forest and open lands, including 300 miles of natural shoreline, 500 miles of trails, 200 wildlife watering holes, and 1,400 camp sites. Designated as a national recreation area in 1963 by President Kennedy, LBL is a recreational destination for roughly 1.5 million visitors annually.
