Description

FSI was awarded a five-year contract by the U.S. Army Engineering & Support Center to perform all operations and maintenance repairs, facility management support tasks, and other grounds and safety functions for the medical facilities of Fort Leonard Wood (FLW), Missouri. This includes the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital (GLWACH) and its associated facilities and grounds.

Facility Services will staff personnel and provide equipment, tools, vehicles, materials, supervision, subcontractors, and any other necessary items and services. FSI will maintain kitchen equipment, locks and video equipment, fire extinguishers, and grounds and snow removal; as well as, perform pest control and helipad support services.

Ft. Leonard Wood, located in the Missouri Ozarks, was established in 1940 as an Army training base. It was intended to be used to train infantry troops; however, in 1941 it was converted into an Engineer Replacement Training Center. The Community Hospital is a full-range treatment facility providing both inpatient and outpatient services in its 472,600 square-foot facility.

FSI is proud to support and improve this important US Army installation.
